Petition to marry cartoon character...... that's insane

I like Japanese mangga but to think that they are people to be so obsess with mangga is unbelievable.... Like this guy, Taichi Takashita, launched an online petition aiming for one million signatures to present to the Japan government to establish a law on marriages with cartoon characters. For god sake, get a life..... go out and meet people...

One person to be obsess is enough but trying to get others to be obsess too is too much.....

Man drives drunk to protest drink-drive charge

I can't stop laughing when I read this news just now..... hahah what a stupid men...

An Austrian man, charged with drink driving, drove to a police station to complain about the charge whilst drunk, officials said Monday.

The 65-year-old had his driving licence and car keys first taken away from him Sunday after driving while over the alcohol limit in the northern city of Linz.

He then went home, picked up his spare car keys, went back to the abandoned car and drove to police headquarters to explain why he was unhappy with the charge.

"When the driver tried to show police officers what had happened the first time, they detected he was still under the influence of alcohol," police said in a statement. The driver was charged a second time.

Aussie driver straps in beer, instead of child

SYDNEY (AFP) - An Australian driver has been fined for putting a seatbelt around a carton of beer instead of a five-year-old passenger, police said Tuesday.

Constable Wayne Burnett told reporters he was "shocked and appalled" to discover the driver's priorities when he pulled a sedan over on the Ross Highway south of the desert town of Alice Springs.

"I haven't ever seen something like this before," he said.

"There were four adults in the car, two in the front seat and two in the back seats and in between those adults there was the carton of beer strapped in with the belt," he said.

"The child was sitting in the lump in the centre, unrestrained."

The driver was fined 750 dollars (707 US) for driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and failing to ensure a child was wearing a seatbelt.

British planners feared tea shortage after nuclear attack?

How stupid can a guy be?

LONDON (AFP) - Never mind the radiation: British contingency planners worried there would be a dramatic shortage of tea in the aftermath of a nuclear attack, recently declassified documents showed Monday.

The shortfall of the staple British beverage would be "very serious" if the country were to come under attack with atomic and hydrogen bombs, said according to a memo drafted between 1954 and 1956.

"The tea position would be very serious with a loss of 75 percent of stocks and substantial delays in imports and with no system of rationing it would be wrong to consider that even one ounce (28 grams) per head per week could be ensured," it said.

"No satisfactory solution has yet been found."

Another memo, written in April 1955, warned: "The advent of thermo-nuclear weapons ... has presented us with a new and much more difficult set of food defence problems."

The contingency planning documents listed a number of issues for discussion including arrangements to ensure stockpiles of food and the availability of bread, milk, meat, oils and fats, and tea and sugar.

The memos were among a number of documents released by the National Archives.

Isn't Brits funny....:)
